GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KREX) — Starting January 3, City of Grand Junction’s Utility Billing department will have a new address. Utilities Director Randi Kim says Grand Junction’s Utility Billing and General Services department will relocate to 910 Main Street to better serve residents.

City Hall is currently at capacity and Kim says her department needs its own building. In-person services like paying bills and other transactions will still be provided at the new location.

The new space makes room to enhance some services.

“The enhancement that we offer is the drive-thru, that’s a primary enhancement,” Grand Junction Utilities Director Randi Kim shares, “It’s just really convenient because there’s non-meter parking, as well as a off-street parking here next to the building, which will make it a lot easier for customers to come in and without having to pay the parking fees.”

Signage will be showing up within the next few weeks. For now, services will still be at City Hall, along with e-billing available 24/7, for all Grand Junction Utilities customers.
