Grand Junction’s New Plan for Roads

Local News

In spring of 2019, the city of Grand Junction attempted to raise taxes in order to fund transportation improvements. This ballot measure failed, leaving the city to take a different route when it comes to addressing infrastructure. The city is opting to ask permission to take on a $70 million dollar bond, as it prepares to payoff the riverside improvement bond in 2022 or 2023.

Fall ballots are expected to start arriving in your mailbox as early as October 15th.
