GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. — Police are still investigating a gunfire exchange that took place Wednesday. Shortly after 12:30 P.M., a call came in to the 911 dispatch center about a physical altercation that was taking place between two adult males at the James Trailer Park. The reporting party stated that one male had a firearm, fired one round, and then left the scene. When officers arrived, they canvased the area for a victim and suspect but were unable to locate either.

Several witnesses came forward and officers continue to conduct interviews and review surveillance footage of the events that unfolded.
