Hudson arrested, string of car robberies

Local News

MONTROSE, Colo. — 15 felony charges were handed to a Mesa County man after being caught in a string of car robberies.

At least two guns were recovered, and more guns are believed to be missing.

Cameron Hudson was given a 50 thousand dollar bond Thursday. Not only did the prosecutor imply that the suspect could potentially be linked to over 200 auto break-ins, but it could also span over multiple counties including Montrose.

The Montrose allegations come from one of the stolen ID’s found with Hudson, being linked to a burglarized car in the city of Montrose.

More concerns over Hudson were raised in the courtroom as two of the firearms were found with the serial numbers removed.

Hudson will be back in court on March 24th.
