Informational Meetings for Voters to Learn About Potential Ballot Question

Police, Fire, and City Leaders Answer Questions about Potential Ballot Measure

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. - Heidi Davidson from the Grand Junction Police Department stopped by the KREX 5 News Studios to explain a potential ballot question proposed for the spring election. The ballot question is asking for an additional sales tax, while also eliminating the City property tax. The City of Grand Junction is still working on drafting ballot language.

The money would benefit the Grand Junction Police Department, Grand Junction Fire Department, and transportation needs. Davidson addresses what the money means for each of the departments in the above interview.
