GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KREX) — Kustom Built Cars is a hotrod restoration workshop created by Jack Weaver to inspire the next generation. Weaver got the idea when he opened his chop shop and could not find much help, and the help he did find was not well-rounded. Soon enough, he came to the realization that there are not many people who know how to restore cars.
Only a few years ago, Weaver said a man approached him about teaching his son the tricks of the trade, and that is when he had the idea to open up a workshop for restoring classics from the ground up. Since then, Kustom Built Cars has taken off and has numerous students looking to make a career in restoring cars. Weaver truly found a way to bring back an old tradition that was almost lost forever. If you or someone you know is interested in being taught how to restore cars, you can contact Kustom Built Cars at (970)-697-8049 or email them at info@kustombuiltcars.org
