Las Colonias Lazy River Remains Low

Local News

Grand Junction, Colo.- The lazy river at Las Colonais is still experiencing very low water level because it’s sealed off from the Colorado river it has been since mid July.

Normally the lazy river would be fed naturally by the Colorado river.

A representative from Grand Junction parks and rec told us the lazy river will remain sealed off from the Colorado river as long as the Colorado river continues to flow below 810 cubic feet per second.
