Life Jackets Help Save Multiple Lives on Local Rivers

Local News

For more than a week Western Colorado has been experiencing flood warnings and watches.

Rough river conditions have led to first responders rescuing numerous people who took to the water this week.

Life jacket safety is always recommended while recreating on the river.

If you don’t own a life jacket,  there are life vests made available for your use on the river, located at several boat launches throughout Mesa County, thanks to the Save A Life Jacket Program.
