GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. — The Greater Colorado Venture Fund is teaming up with the Colorado Pearl Fund to host a competition for rural Colorado-based start-up companies.

Seven finalists were chosen for the Greater Colorado Pitch Series Finals out of more than 100 companies that applied. Of those seven, two are from right here in the Grand Valley.

One of those finalists, called Product Movement Technologies, is a top 300 amazon reseller company.

The business is owned by Luke Sutherland and Peter Keegan, who have been best friends since the 3rd grade.

The business started in Sutherland’s garage in 2016, but quickly outgrew its original space, and now operates out of a warehouse in Grand Junction.

The Greater Colorado Pitch Series Finals airs on July 30th. The Greater Colorado Venture Fund will invest $250,000 into the winning company.
