Shooting on 500 Block Near Main Street, Update

Grand Junction, Colo. — An update on how a fight in Downtown Grand Junction ended in a shooting Friday night near the 500 block of Main Street.

The Grand Junction Police Department says a little before midnight on Friday night near the 500 block of Main Street, an altercation between two males led to shots being fired, hitting one victim.

Authorities say the injuries are not life threatening but haven’t included where or how many times the victim may have been shot.

Grand Junction Police say they have identified a vehicle and a potential suspect tied to the incident, but no arrests have been made.
