GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. - 37-year-old Kalab Prettyman, the man accused of fatally shooting his wife, appeared in court on May 7 for a review hearing.
Prettyman was charged with murder in the second degree, not heat of passion.
After already being granted one continuance for the defense to have more time to review the case,
Judge Timbreza granted a second continuance to accommodate the defense attorney's schedule.
The judge told them that return will be a decision day for purposes of waiving or requesting a preliminary hearing.
The case returns to court on June 18.
