Man found in Colorado River identified

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. — The Mesa County Coroner’s Office has completed its examination regarding the death of Dustin Robinson, a 43-year-old male resident of Clifton, Colorado. Mr. Robinson was the male that went into the Colorado River in Clifton on May 24, 2021. The cause of death is drowning and the manner of death is an accident. Toxicology is pending at this time and he
was not wearing a life preserver.

The law enforcement agency overseeing this investigation is the Mesa County Sheriff’s Office. Please contact them for any further details regarding this case.
