CLIFTON, Colo. - The Mesa County Coroner's office identifies the man killed by a train under the 32 Rd. overpass in Clifton Monday night.
According to the Mesa County Coroner's Office, 49-year-old Michael Kelly died of multiple blunt force injuries and rules the death an accident.
In his report, the Coroner finds Kelly appeared to be homeless and traveled a lot. The report couldn't find any permanent residence, but found ties in Colorado and California.
Kelley's blood alcohol level at the time of his death was 0.327%.
On Monday, September 10th after 7:30 p.m., the conductor of a train traveling through the Clifton area called into emergency dispatch that a man had been hit on the tracks.
