GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KREX) — UPDATE: Arrest made in Clifton shooting.

Local law enforcement has arrested a suspect after a woman arrived at the hospital this morning with a gunshot wound.

The MCSO says a woman arrived at the emergency room at St. Mary’s Hospital with a gunshot wound at around 9:40 a.m. this morning, but Western Slope Now received an anonymous tip this morning claiming the woman was suffering from a gunshot wound to the face.

Law enforcement then responded to the 3200 Block of Lombardy Lane. Deputies and investigators interviewed people and collected evidence this morning.

Law enforcement arrested a suspect this afternoon, Western Slope Now is waiting to hear back from the MCSO for information regarding the arrest.
