GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. — Memorial Day is quickly approaching, and with that, the Colorado State Patrol wants to remind the Grand Valley about safety while driving. Memorial Day DUI Enforcement began on Friday. The State Patrol and local law enforcement are joining forces to combat impaired driving this weekend.
CDOT anticipates more Coloradans will be visiting bars and restaurants this summer. The organization wants to remind all patrons to drink responsibly. The Colorado State Patrol says this is especially important to remember for the holiday weekend. Many more families will be travelling as the school year has just ended and summer is beginning.
