Mesa County Administrator resigns

MESA COUNTY, Colo. — Frank Whidden submitted a letter of resignation on Thursday, stating that his resignation would take effect immediately due to other opportunities.


Frank worked for Mesa County since 2011 and has served as County Administrator since December of 2014.


Meanwhile, Pete Baier, the Mesa County Deputy Administrator Operations/Public Works, is filling in as the County Administrator.


The Board of County Commissioners is still determining a plan to replace Mr. Whidden.
