Mesa County’s Small Business Relief Program is Underway

Local News

MESA COUNTY, Colo. — Small business owners in Mesa County are invited to review eligibility details and apply for the Mesa County Small Business Relief Program. Applications will be accepted from Jan. 14 through Feb. 4, 2021.

Eligible businesses are restaurants and bars, including distilleries, wineries and breweries, caterers, movie theaters, and fitness or recreational sports centers with revenues under $2.5 million and a minimum of 20 percent revenue loss due to COVID-19 impacts.

Mesa County businesses are encouraged to apply as soon as possible. The window for applications is very short — follow-up materials may be requested after an application is submitted to ensure businesses have met eligibility requirements.

Award amounts will depend on the total number of qualified businesses and funding available.

Funding decisions will be made on or around Feb. 1, 2021. Relief grants will be issued by Feb. 12, 2021.
