GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. - It's the most festive time of the year. To kick things off, Mesa Mall is hosting it's annual Festival of Trees.
This is the third year that the festival has taken place to raise money for local nonprofits.
13 nonprofits participated this year, by decorating their own personalized Christmas trees that are currently on display at the mall.
You can bid on the tree of your choice through a silent auction. If you win, you get to display the tree in your own home.
"It's really exciting to get to work with these groups. All of the nonprofits have great missions and are doing great work. It's fun to get to give back a little," said Tamara Krizman, Marketing Director at the Mesa Mall.
They encourage anyone shopping to stop by the Mall Clock Court to check out the fun display. The closing ceremony is scheduled for Monday, December 4 at 9 a.m.
