Mind Springs COVID-19 mental health support line

Local News

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. — Mind Springs Health is offering a support line specifically for mental health issues related to COVID-19.

The hotline will be staffed by trained mental health professionals Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

In a news release about the new support line, mind springs staff say this hotline was created because social distancing has “intensified existing mental health issues for some, while bringing forth first-time struggles for others.”

The mental health professionals who staff the hotline will be able to provide coping skills with those dealing with anxiety, and make referrals to other resources should they need them.

The director of mind springs encourages anyone in the community to call because of how all of us are being impacted in some way by COVID-19.
