GRAND JUNCTION, Colo.- The brewery has been extending its patio as a pop-up farmer’s market for a group of small business vendors to sell their products once a month since October. This is to provide a safe space to promote the individual brands.
Seeing the continuous support from the community adds a little more love to the hosts’ Valentine’s Day.
“We opened the week of the state’s shutdown, so the community has been so supportive of us since the beginning;” Brian Fischer explains, “and to see them come out and support other local vendors who have, really all, struggled through 2020 with all of the festivals being shut down, it’s just been less opportunity for everybody, so the community being ultra supportive of this event and the vendors that are here.”
Monumental Beer Works plans to have another market in March but hopes to transition the event from monthly to weekly afterwards, with the anticipated warmer weather.
