TODAY: By mid morning, snow returns to the area. We will see on and off chances of snow throughout the rest of the day and temperatures in the 30s. 1 to 2 inches of snow is expected for the lower elevations and 4 to 5 inches for the Northern and Central Rockies and 8 to 9 inches for the San Juans.
TONIGHT: Temperatures are in the 20s overnight with chances of snow showers.
EXTENDED FORECAST: We see chances of snow for Saturday morning before the storm system leaves the area Saturday afternoon. Temperatures will be in the 30s on Saturday. By Sunday, a cold air mass will move in to the area from the north and temperatures will be in the 20s.
