TONIGHT: If you are heading out tonight for New Year’s Eve festivities, bring something to keep you warm. Temperatures will be in the 20s by 9 p.m. and will be in the teens by the time the ball drops at midnight. Temperatures will then get colder by the early morning hours and will be in the single digits and teens.
EXTENDED FORECAST: Although it was clear and cold on Tuesday, a storm system will move in the area by Wednesday and will bring chances of snow showers for the first day of 2020. Temperatures will be in the 30s for New Year’s Day. Chances for snow continue Thursday morning.
