A new assisted living and state-of-the-art memory community living facility is set to open in the Grand Valley and we got a sneak peak.

Cappella of Grand Junction is part of a greater network of assisted living communities across the state and they say they’re excited to bring their care to the Grand Valley.

When it opens, it will feature community spaces, both outdoor and in, both assisted living and memory support apartments, with each geared to ensure that the seniors moving into the facility get the most out of their living space.

“The idea is once we help somebody on the physical side of things let’s open them up to other ways to purpose their lives and nothing brings people more purpose than connection.” said Chris Connery, with Cappella.

The facility will offer a restaurant, bistro, salon, courtyard and multiple community spaces. The plan is to open in late September and moves-ins taking place in October.
