GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. –
Fresh off the heels of the announcement the BLM is moving their headquarters to the Grand Valley, another shake up comes out of DC.
The BLM has a new acting director, Wyoming native William Perry Pendley. Pendley, a lawyer and writer faces criticism for advocating the sale of federal lands. But also draws support for his history of championing ranchers during standoffs with the federal government.
KREX TV spoke with West Slope Colorado Oil and Gas Association about the new director. They say they are looking forward to building a relationship with Pendley.
