New City Council Member joins Colorado Animal Welfare Committee

Anna Stout from the Roice-Hurst Humane Society not only officially became a city council member on May 6th, but she also was appointed to a state wide committee focusing on animal welfare. the PAWS Committee will have representation from veterinarians, senior staff at shelters, attorneys and more.

They will be tasked with providing input on how legislation crafted in Colorado can better protect both animals and communities.
