One Hospitalized After Apparent Stabbing in Grand Junction

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo- A man is in the hospital after an apparent stabbing in Grand Junction Saturday afternoon.

Shortly before, 4 p.m., the Grand Junction Police Department responded to the 500 block of 28 1/2 Road on reports of a violent assault.

The victim was taken to the hospital in serious condition and eyewitnesses say they saw 3 males fleeing the area after the assault.

No one is in custody at this time.

28 1/2 Road is closed between Elm and Mesa Avenues as officers continue to investigate.
