GRAND MESA, Colo –
Breath taking views such as this can be seen from the Palisade Plunge mountain bike trail. A new shuttle service has made arriving at your trail low-cost and convenient.
Introducing the Powderhorn Plunge Shuttle, this shuttle will service transporting riders to the Palisade Plunge and Plunge to Powderhorn trails. These trials are intermediate to advanced but offer a chance for everyone to enjoy the ride.
This shuttle allows access to both plunge trails from the Mesa Top trailhead or starting from Shirttail point. The Palisade Plunge is most suitable for advanced riders, but for those looking for an easier ride, the Plundge to Powderhorn is a great alternative.
“The Plunge to Powderhorn is an intermediate ride, much more suitable for a rider that’s not ready for that more advanced trail,” Ryan Robinson, Powderhorn Plunge Marketing Director, said.
One shuttle, two trails. The Powderhorn Shuttle makes sure getting to the top of your trail is easy so you can enjoy the way down.
“Wide range of skill levels can enjoy this, we really encourage paying attention to the weather, being properly prepared for a longer bike ride, and having the right equipment,” Robinson said.
After over ten years of planning, route finding, and collaboration this once in a lifetime ride is open and riders are racing to check it out.
“It’s an absolute bucket list ride, that an advanced rider should check off the list, but its challenging for sure,” Robinson said.
