OURAY, Colo. — Ouray County Public Health Agency is reporting 5 confirmed cases (one of which was reported last week), 2 new probable cases and 1 new suspected case associated with an outbreak of COVID-19 in Ouray County.

“Please work with our contact tracing team at the Colorado Department of Public Health & Environment in our efforts to limit the spread of COVID-19 associated with this outbreak” said Ouray County Public Health Director Tanner Kingery.

“I know getting a phone call from an unknown number can feel suspicious, but please know we are a small health department and are relying on the assistance of a team of contact tracers at the State to help with the massive amount of work involved in contacting new cases and close contacts of those cases. We need your cooperation in order to effectively limit the spread of COVID-19 in Ouray County”.
