PALISADE, Colo. (KREX) – Many generations were represented on Main Street Friday afternoon as the school’s rich history was celebrated with a parade packed with past, present, and future students. The crowd in Downtown Palisade proudly sported the ‘maroon and white’ as attendees demonstrated their support for the school, no matter how they’re connected to the campus.
“I came down here to support my son who is in the band,” Proud Palisade High School Parent Josh Aubert:= shares, “Anytime I get a chance to watch a march, it’s great and they do a wonderful job. I’m here to support Palisade and the community.”
This homecoming weekend celebrates the 111 years of Palisade High School’s existence with even more years of academic and athletic excellence to come.
