GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. — You may have noticed a big crowd and beautiful melodies coming from Lincoln Park Monday.
Monday was the 1A-3A High School State Marching Band Championships, and it attracted thousands of students and spectators.
Marching bands from schools across the state, including Palisade High School, gathered at Stocker Stadium.
The Colorado Bandmasters Association State Championships filled parking lots and spectator seating.
As for Palisade High School, they finished in 2nd place in Class 3A with a school-record score of 80.9!
