Saturday the eleventh International Honeybee Festival took place in Palisade.
Downtown Palisade was as busy as a… well… you know!
A swarm of reasons to come out and enjoy the 11th Palisade International Honeybee Festival.
From music to local wine, and of course the star of the show.
Event attendees LOVED the sweet honey.
This year, was a record breaker! The largest in the event’s history…
“We’ve seen it grow from just a small event, to this year, we have 80 vendors.”
And those vendors… well, they loved the business.
“Sales are very very good here, it’s wonderful!”
But it wasn’t all business! Attendees enjoyed face painting, horse and carriage rides, games, and of course a little schooling too.
“We’re all about education, we want people to know what they can do individually to help the bees.”
Learning while having a good time? That’s what you could call the bee’s knees.
