PALISADE, Colo.- Mountain bikers listen up! A massive new trail is coming to the Grand Mesa.

The “Palisade Plunge” will stretch over 30 miles beginning on top of the Grand Mesa all the way to downtown Palisade.

The Mesa County Board of Commissioners approved a $1.2 million grant Monday to secure the second phase and completion of the project. Officials hope the trail will be completed by Spring 2021.

Palisade and other Grand Valley businesses are hoping this will bring a positive economic impact to the area in the future.
