Dance Performance of “SHOES” at Two Libraries

Your Garfield County Libraries are thrilled to host a performance of “SHOES” at two libraries. “SHOES” is grounded in dance, utilizing other art forms including live music, poetry, storytelling, painting, and sculpture; all originally created and composed by well-established professional artists from Denver. Aspen Dance Connection will perform, and wants viewers to look at themselves and feel the connectedness that we all have as humans. The first event will be held on Thursday, July 8 at the Carbondale Branch Library, with the second event on Friday, July 9 at the Rifle Branch Library. These free family events both begin at 10 a.m., are open to all, and will be held in-person and outside the libraries. All current COVID-19 safety protocols must be followed by all attendees.
