Representative Soper Presents Colorado Flag to Eagle Scout

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. — In times like this, it is important to recognize the positive things happening in our community. State Representative Matt Soper presented a Colorado flag to a new Eagle Scout on Thursday. Brandon Miller received this honor as a recognition of his many hours of community service. One of Brandon’s most notable services was his contribution to Fruita Middle School. With help, he was able to build a new game for the school’s playground.

Brandon was honored to have State Representative Matt Soper personally present the flag to him. Representative Soper said that it is days like this that make him love his job. The Colorado flag that the Eagle Scout received previously flew over the State’s Capitol.
