RockyMounts breaks ground at Las Colonias

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo.- RockyMounts is the first business to break ground at the new business park within Riverfront at Las Colonias park.

Members of Grand Junction City Council and the Grand Junction Economic Partnership welcomed RockyMounts to the community at Friday’s ground breaking.

RockyMounts, a Boulder-based bike rack company, announced it was relocating to Grand Junction at the Western Colorado economic summit in June 2018.

RockyMounts owner Bobby Noyes says moving his company to the Western Slope will be a fresh start. His company has been in Boulder for the past 25 years.

“The front range has gotten a little crowded, as a bike advocate, I had some problems where our staff was driven out of town and we had some long automobile commutes,” Noyes said. “Moving to Grand Junction all our staff can live in town and ride bikes to work and that’s a big deal.”
