Graduating seniors are taking a walk through the school where they began their education, inspiring younger generations to chase their dreams.
Assistant Principal, Zachary Moore, says, “For some students they might be seeing their older brother, their sister, their perhaps cousin or uncle and, to know that they have for the past 13 years been engaged, equipped, and empowered in their education and, they have perservered through this point, is very inspiring.
There are 650 elementary students cheering on the senior graduating class that started here as a kindergartner in 2006. The end of one journey is the beginning of another.
Senior, Colby Strauser, says, “I’m really glad they did this. It was so nice to see a lot of my older teachers. I know some drove hours and hours and hours to get here and it’s amazing. It’s made my day.”
Former Principal, Tami Kramer is one of these former instructors and says, “It was amazing. It was really amazing. I wasn’t sure I was going to make it today. I moved out of the area and so, I got up super early and drove here to see everyone.”
