Hospitals are known for making people feel better. And today, St. Mary’s gave some of that positive energy to those with the hardest jobs.
They hosted a first responder brunch in honor of those who serve not only the hospital, but the Grand Valley community as a whole. Firefighters, Police, and EMT’s were some of the personnel invited and executive chef Jared Prows cooked up an extensive spread of breakfast and lunch items, including his own recipe for gouda mac and cheese.
Many who attended had to take their meals to go as duty called, but the chefs and staff were happy to accommodate any first responder who attended.
