GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. — A local organization that supports people with disabilities is seeing a decline in people using its services during this pandemic.
Strive wants the community to know that its still in business and ready to serve you.
Although the way Strive serves people has changed due to COVID-19, there’s a number of ways the strive still interacts with clients without seeing them in person.
From sending home activities to keep clients busy, to providing telehealth and work-from-home opportunities, Strive has not stopped service it has only shifted.
“Listening to hospitals and doctors, people aren’t coming in and getting what they need done… it’s the same for us, we know people are out there that need our services, they just aren’t sure that we are open.” -Doug Sorter, Strive
