Suicide Awareness Month: How one Grand Junction man is speaking out

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. – KREX 5 and FOX 4 are working with the local VA Hospital to share a series of stories in honor of Suicide Awareness Month. Vietnam Veteran, Wayne Telford, is a local man who lost his veteran daughter to suicide in 2012. After facing hardship following the death of his daughter, he turned to the VA for help. Now, he spends his time mentoring fellow veterans and encouraging them to seek the resources at the VA.
