Summer Courses Available at WCCC

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo - Are you looking to enhance your skills or to gain new ones? Western Colorado Community College and Colorado Mesa University are still enrolling for summer classes.

A wide range of programs is being offered including early childhood education, automotive technology, welding, and fire management, and much more.

Classes are available online or taught at the schools, whether you're trying to receive an education or just to brush up on your skills, there are even new classes that have never been taught before.

"Health sciences type programs, medical office assistant, CNA. This summer we're offering two different CNA courses with one starting in June, but some of the new courses and programs that we're offering is transportation, machining, welding, serving, a bunch of technical trades and skills anyone would need to move on in their position", says Brigitte Sundermann the Acting Vice President of Community College Affairs for Western Colorado Community College.

Classes begin next Monday on June 11th, but there are many other classes planned for the late summer months.

Enrollment can be done online or at the community college.
