Coloradans are passionate about their pets so it’s upsetting if there are no vet offices open, if animals get sick or hurt, but that situation is about to improve.

Veterinarians Dr. Mark Ryan and Dr. Justin Seely just teamed up with Dr. Megan Riveros to open an emergency clinic at Monument View Veterinary Hospital. The clinic will offer 24 hour emergency care for pets, four days a week.

Dr. Seely says expanding hospital hours to provide emergency services fit his vision to expand and modernize the vet hospital. They’ll also offer new emergency services like house calls, at home euthanasia and telemedicine.

“With such an influx of people that we’ve seen in the past couple of years, everybody has pets in the great outdoor space and pets don’t just have emergencies during the normal 8-5 work day. Those after hours after 2am can be anything,” says Veterinarian Dr. Riveros.

Veterinary emergency at Monument View is located off of Highway 50 on Orchard Mesa – at the top of 5th street hill.
