GRAND JUNCTION, Colo.- The House, an organization which assists youth facing homelessness in Mesa County, persists through COVID-19.
The organization is implementing different social distancing measures and continues to take in youth in need.
The executive director of the organization says social distancing measures include putting youth they take in during this time into hotels.
Additionally, staff with The House are in need of non-perishable food items, and cleaning supplies to help keep the youth they serve safe. Staff say they are going through this supplies and need assistance in re-stocking due to the high demand for essential household items.
