GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KREX) — UPDATE: GJPD took to Twitter on Feb. 8 to release a string of tweets in response to Tina Peters’ arrest. In the series of statements, they reiterated that “an arrest affidavit is being submitted & will be released once it becomes available.”
They continued with a reminder that the public should “not call 9-1-1 or non-emergency dispatch to comment about this incident. Please remember that Dispatch phone lines are for emergencies or other calls for service within our community. Calling those lines for anything other than public safety services is not an appropriate use of resources.”

ORIGINAL: The Grand Junction Police Department (GJPD) has announced that Tina Peters was arrested and released on scene, pending charges.
Officers with the GJPD responded to a business in the 600 block of Main Street this morning shortly before 10:45 a.m. on a request to assist the District Attorney’s Office with an active investigation.
According to GJPD officials, an arrest affidavit is being submitted and once it becomes available, will be released.
