GARFIELD COUNTY, Colo.
I-70 through Glenwood Canyon is now open following the Flash Flood Warning, according to the Colorado Department of Transportation. The organization says no new mudslides were detected and lanes are safe to open. A Flash Flood Watch continues through the area through 6pm, according to CDOT.
CDOT says during a Flash Flood Watch, maintenance crews will be stationed at two closure points along I-70 at mile post 133 (Dotsero) and mile post 116 (Glenwood Springs) allowing for a quick closure of the interstate if weather worsens.
