GRAND JUNCTION, Colo — Friday was a milestone for two veterans. Both men are the first graduates of a program that helps homeless vets.
The VA school at work program is a pilot program that offers to not only give a safe, secure home to homeless vets, but an opportunity for them to start their lives over by giving veterans a chance to attend school classes and learn skills to help them get a job.
The ceremony celebrated all their hard work for the two men who grabbed this opportunity.
