On Sunday, the Colorado Mesa women’s lacrosse season ended with a 16-14 loss to the No. 2 Regis Rangers in the second round of the NCAA national tournament.
CMU ends the season with a (15-4) overall record and was (7-2) in RMAC play. The Mavs made it to the NCAA tournament for the first time in program history and upset conference foe, Lindenwood in the first round to make it to the national quarterfinals.
Senior Olyvia Hayden broke the school record for most goals scored in a single season passing 60 in the loss.
