MCPH: 50% of new COVID-19 cases in last 2 weeks linked to out of state travel

MESA COUNTY, Colo. — Mesa County Public Health Director Jeff Kuhr said in a briefing to county commissioners Monday, 50% of new COVID-19 cases within the last two weeks have been linked to out of state travel.

The county has reported 48 new positive cases in the last two weeks.

Recently, Mesa County Public Health has advised being cautious if you need to travel and avoid coronavirus hotspot areas around the country.
