Federal officials say two foreign governments have gotten their hands on U.S. voting registration information.

Director of National Intelligence, John Ratcliffe, and FBI Director, Christopher Wray say both Russia and Iran were able to obtain the data.

They say Iran sent “spoofed emails” intending to intimidate voters, and incite social unrest with the goal of damaging President Trump.
