NCAA Limiting Attendance At Championship Events

INDIANAPOLIS, IN.-

Wednesday the NCAA announced in a written statement that the governing body of collegiate athletics will be limiting access to championship games, tournaments, and events to “only essential staff and limited family attendance”. The NCAA cited growing health concerns over COVID-19 and the spread of the disease as the reason the decision was made. NCAA President Mark Emmert said in a written statement the NCAA, “will move forward and conduct championships consistent with the current information and will continue to monitor and make adjustments as needed.”
