The National Weather Service has implemented a Blizzard Warning for an incoming storm system that may bring blizzard conditions to the plains and Front Range including Denver and areas south to Colorado Springs and Monument Hill. Snow in the mountains will begin Wednesday morning, with rain to the east, turning to snow midday. High winds, cold temps and snow may create visibility issues with blowing and drifting conditions depending on how the storm sets up. Mountain travelers can expect chain and traction laws. Storm event is expected to leave the state late in the day on Thursday.
